Family Advantage Leadership
Family Advantage LLC was founded by Willie Gilchrist II, a passionate advocate for children, adolescents, and families in need of behavioral health support. With a deep commitment to compassion, empowerment, and excellence, Willie started Family Advantage in 2006 as a Level III Residential program in Pleasant Hill, NC, providing structured care for youth facing complex behavioral and emotional challenges.
Under his leadership, the organization expanded in 2019 to Scotland Neck, NC, and later to Charlotte/Concord, NC, introducing Medication Management, Day Treatment, and Outpatient Therapy programs to provide comprehensive, holistic care. Willie’s vision has always been to create environments where every youth and family feels valued, supported, and guided toward lasting healing.
Willie Gilchrist II leads Family Advantage with a hands-on approach, blending professional expertise with genuine care. He works closely with staff, clients, and families to ensure every program reflects the agency’s mission: empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building brighter futures.
